    This is a fine rolled paper miniature Queen Anne house simulating brick and stone with seven bays and two stories, each side with a window and door, the front with string course and quoining, the brickwork of red tightly rolled gilded paper, the mortar of straight gilded card, the roof of rolled gilt paper 'tiles', with loosely curly parapets, curious central skylight and plain paper chimney stacks, the central elongated front door with elaborate fantasy portico and four white curled paper semi-circular steps, the painted back drop showing garden wall and sky, curled white and gold paper trees and vines, red flowering shrubs, black and white checkered steps to the side doors, and brown earth with tufted grass and fourteen card pots of curled and cut-paper flowers and plants, a green mica covered arbour on either side, the front windows open to show an elaborate rolled paper staircase hung with oriental silk pictures, interior doors and four rooms with swagged muslin and silk curtains, edged with silk braids

    The double sided printed and hand coloured lady standing in her undergarments and with wooden stand, six beautiful dresses including two in cream with green foliage and flower pattern, a pink dress with roses, green winter coat with fur scarf and muff, yellow gown and another in pale blue, two holding fans, eleven separate elaborate hairstyles, some with bonnets and feathers, and nine various capes and scarfs, all contained in the original green and gold box with picture depicting three ladies with a child at her dressing table playing with her doll, (dolls feet and base repaired/replaced, some stains to blue dress, damage to box lid), doll 26cm (10in) tall.
